The rains stopped mid-morning, the overcast stayed all day and the winds were still blowing out of the south giving us a bouncy ride as we sailed to weather close reach. Noon-to-noon run was 141 miles. Probably a bit longer on the path we actually sailed.
Last night and this morning were the first AIS targets since we left the crowded Panama Canal entrance area. Looks like they are cargo ships heading toward the main shipping port on the Ecuador mainland, Guayaquil. We haven't visually seen any boats since Panama.
Still on schedule to arrive on Thursday morning.
